Mission

Drive the development and implementation of integrated voice/data carrier class solutions for Service Providers and large companies with a strong focus on Innovative Services. Together, Italtel and Cisco work on network solutions for the convergence of voice, data and video to meet growing global demands - offering customers our extensive Internet and telecoms experience, to expand their own capabilities.

As part of their technological and commercial strategic alliance, Italtel and Cisco will focus joint development, sales and marketing activities on addressing the migration of traditional voice networks to next generation Internet Protocol (IP)-based networks. At the same time, Italtel and Cisco will drive growth of IP Communications into the corporate business voice services segment across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and the Latin America region.

Within the strategic alliance, in 2008 Italtel obtained the Cisco Customer Satisfaction Excellence award for four areas: Italy, Cansac, Argentina-Chile-Peru-Uruguay-Paraguay-Bolivia, and Spain. Then Italtel confirmed the Cisco Telepresence ATP certification, thus strengthening sales in Italy. In South America the company achieved Cisco Gold Partnership. Always in 2008, Italtel has become Cisco WiMax Partner for design and implementation of Cisco Broadband Wireless Network in Italy

As for specializations, Italtel Argentina acquired the new specialization Advanced Data Center Networking Infrastructure for the area Argentina-Chile-Peru-Uruguay-Paraguay- Bolivia. Moreover, in Italy and Spain Italtel confirmed the Advanced Unified Communications specialization, demonstrating to be qualified to sell, install and assist Cisco customers for Unified Communications solutions. .

At the Cisco Partner Summit 2009 Italtel has been named Service Provider Partner of the Year for Latin America.
