Italtel solutions

Italtel has been selected by Telecom Italia Sparkle for the implementation of iMSS-NGN Class 4 solution onto its Pan European Backbone
The solution is based on the Italtel i-SSW (Italtel Softswitch), installed in PoP’s located in the main European cities and North America, and Cisco Media Gateways.
Currently this integrated IP backbone is one of the largest worldwide carrying several Billions minutes of voice traffic.
The solution allows also the inter-working among VoIP and PSTN and the interconnection of different H.323 and SIP domains.
