At the Cisco booth, Italtel and Cisco Systems will be presenting a live demo of the joint Integrated Networked Business Voice Solution (IN-BVS), a platform for Service Providers aimed at delivering Hosted and Managed VoIP services for business users. The demo will focus on the fixed and mobile VoIP convergence with dual mode handsets, Coordinated Provisioning System for mass provisioning and SIP Trunking. More in details IN-BVS is an architectural framework that extends Cisco IP Communications Solutions (voice, video, messaging, IP contact center) into the Service Provider domain. Service Providers utilize the components of the IN-BVS framework to deliver IP communications services to Large Enterprises, SMBs, and Public Administration who prefer to outsource some or all of their communications needs. During a joint TechTorial session, Cisco and Italtel will provide technical and marketing insights about the IN-BVS solution, aimed at the delivery of Hosted and Managed Business Voice Services for Service Providers. In particular, in the session about Managed Voice (Tuesday, January 30, 1.45 pm – 3.00 pm), the IN-BVS solution will also be presented by Paolo Prevedini, Italtel Network Solution Architect. Finally, at the Italtel booth, Italtel specialists on NGN/IMS solutions will be available to discuss the evolution of Softswitch and IMS technologies and how this can enable Service Providers to deliver new services.
