ITALTEL IS PARTICIPATING WITH A PROOF OF CONCEPT
The Broadband World Forum is the world’s largest event dedicated to broadband and exploring how network innovation is powering the global connected society.
Italtel is participating to the International event with a Proof of Concept that aims to demonstrate the application of the NFV and SDN concepts for improving multimedia real time communications.
The PoC is based on Italtel products in scenarios involving both the web and IMS network with specific reference to the emerging WebRTC technology that is breaking down the barrier of complexity for unified communication services.
WebRTC makes available real time communication and collaboration to a massive number of end users by enabling audio, video and data services leveraging on the capabilities of web browsers.
Giuseppe Monteleone, Product Manager at Italtel, will show the PoC on 21 october at 10:30 am within the NFV Proof of Concept Zone.
