ICT technologies have demonstrated in the last year and a half, characterized by the pandemic, their ability to improve and facilitate our lives in all sectors.
In these days of 3 and 4 November, organized by Graustic and dedicated to Catalonia, the goal was to consider how it is possible to incorporate these new digital technologies in the field of health, economy, culture, sustainability and education to build a better, more cohesive, more connected and more resilient environment.
Italtel has participated in two Round Tables which takes place on 3 November, both online:
DIGITAL URBANISM – The evolution of digital technologies, added to what has recently been experienced in this pandemic, leads to the anticipation of structural changes in public spaces and also in private spaces, as well as the conversion of many commercial premises. This Round Table discusses how the digital and physical worlds converge in urban areas. The speech for Italtel was by Josep Ramon Ferrer, Public Sector Sales Director in Italtel Spain.
ADMINISTRATION 5G POLICIES – The evolution of telecommunications networks, and more specifically mobile communications, with 5G technology, opens up a great world of new possibilities and use cases in different sectors, from mobility to agriculture, health, education, etc. But to what extent is this a reality in Catalonia, what is the state of the art in this development and what are the roles of each?
Miguel Angel Tellez, Deputy General Manager-Mediterranean Area in Italtel Spain has provided his vision, which you can review in this video of the Round Table, starting from minute 1:07:14: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=am8c2pi8Xdk
