During the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, Stefano Pileri – CEO of Italtel – explains 3 key messages of Innovation, in line with the main market trends:

1. Virtualization and automation of networks: “operation of the networks has to be very lean. We are proposing our virtualized and cloud ready Session Border Controller and Cloud Ready Communication system for business customers”
2. Internet of Things: IoT industry is ready! “We have developed our IoT platform to collect data from sensors”
3. Analytics and Big Data “we have a solution that helps Telecom Operators to reduce the churn of the customers”

Pileri highlights that one of the main goals of Italtel is to help Telecom Operators accelerating the decommissioning and simplification projects of the network. To do this, Italtel is the ideal partner because “we have strong technology capabilities and also strong software capabilities in order to develop tools that are customized case by case, depending on network architecture, network structure and network evolution”.

Digital Transformation is the new thing in the industry, because it has to be applied not only in our industry but also in many industries (manufacturing, agriculture, services but also healthcare, government, energy). “All the industries will be deeply transformed because of digitalization“. Pileri concludes underlying the important role that Italtel can play in particular alongside the manufacturing industries.
