Gridspertise, our partner for Smart Grids, exhibits at CIRED

CIRED, the International Conference & Exhibition on Electricity Distribution takes place in Rome from 12th to 15th June. Organized every two years by the Leading Forum where the electricity distribution community meets, this major event welcomes +1500 conference participants and it is an occasion to meet with 3000 experts.

Gridspertise, which helps Distribution system operators enter the future of energy, providing digital technologies and solutions that transform today’s electricity grids into tomorrow’s smart grids, is among the main exhibitors of this edition and Italtel is present with its logo, as co-creation program partner, launched with the aim to identify new use cases and develop solutions to accelerate the digital transformations of the grids. You can find Gridspertise at booth A14, where two cutting-edge solutions are presented: Enhanced workforce management and QEd, Quantum EdgeDevice, at the core of the co-creation program and described below.

As a perfect response to the challenges posed nowadays to the electric grid, this all-in-one solution enables Distribution system operators (DSOs) to run key grid functionalities directly on the edge, virtualize key network automation functions through customizable applications and reduce the amount of equipment in secondary substations. It helps ensure the stability of the grid while managing generation from distributed energy resources and growing energy demand, and it makes it possible to add new applications over time.

You can find Gridspertise at stand A14, where two cutting-edge solutions are presented: Enhanced Workforce Management and the QEd – Quantum Edge® device, at the heart of the co-creation program.

As a response to today’s energy transition challenges, this all-in-one solution enables distribution system operators (DSOs) to run key network functions directly at the edge, virtualize key network automation functions through customizable applications and reduce the number of equipment in secondary substations. QEd also helps ensure grid stability by managing generation from distributed energy resources and growing energy demand, and allows to add new applications, adapting to future needs.
