Italtel is silver sponsor of the International Symposium on the Internet of Sounds
The Internet of Sound is an emerging research field positioned at the intersection of the Internet of Things and the domains of sound and music computing. The symposium, which takes place in Pisa on 26 and 27 October, brings together academics and companies to investigate and promote the development of Internet of Sound technologies, using cutting-edge tools and processes.
The applications of this technology are multiple: from industrial monitoring to monitoring in cities, thanks to listening to sounds. Some concrete examples are the monitoring of industrial machinery, or the monitoring of gas leaks and water pipes in a city area.
The event is co-organised by the University of Pisa and Cubit Innovation Labs: with our participation we keep our collaboration with the Universities active and strengthen the innovation capacity of our R&D.
