- SDN monitoring & automation: Italtel Netwrapper
Italtel’s Netwrapper application, utilizing Cisco’s APIC-EM Enterprise SDN Controller, allows smart allocation of network resources according to services’ requirements. Dynamic Admission Control (DAC) is the first Italtel solution that employs Netwrapper to assure quality of experience for enterprises adopting multi-technology UC&C environment. This demo will show, through specific use cases, how DAC solution can be applied, on UC&C services based on both Cisco CUCM and MS Skype for Business servers, enabling easy deployment and optimized network resources usage. - NFV: Cloud Inside Session Border Controller
This demo includes the Italtel NetMatch-S Cloud Inside Session Border Controller (VNF) and the Italtel VNF Manager.
Session Border Controllers (SBC) are key elements for the evolution of communication networks. They are adopted at the border of the Telco networks for the IP-based interconnection and for the rapid growth in the rollout and adoption of VoIP solution for residential and business voice services. Now the SBC is a fundamental element for the wireless access, specifically in Voice over WiFi (VoWiFi) and Voice over LTE (VoLTE) solutions.

The demo will show how the ETSI-based SW architecture of the Italtel VNFs (decomposed SW architecture with the externalization of states, model driven configuration and orchestration) is able to respond to all the NFV requirements in terms of easy instantiation, rapid elasticity (manual and auto-scaling according to the traffic load) and high availability.
