IEEE International Conference on High Performance Switching and Routing

As part of the IEEE event “International Conference on High Performance Switching and Routing” (HPSR 2024), which will be held July 22-24, 2024 in Pisa, Italy, our Research & Innovation Manager, Antonino Albanese, chairs the panel entitled “Networked AI for Environmental Monitoring of the Rural Areas.” The panel, scheduled for July 22 from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m., focuses on the use of digital technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learnig (ML), Computer Vision and Edge Computing, applied to Smart Agriculture (SFA) and environmental monitoring in rural areas. This session is organized in collaboration with the Italian research program RESTART and the WatchEDGE project, which aims to develop innovative solutions for environmental monitoring through the integration of advanced technologies. We are very excited to contribute to the discussion on how digital technologies can transform environmental and agricultural management, promoting sustainable and innovative practices.
