Milan, May 19, 2026 – ltaltel, a multinational Information & Communication Technology company, is expanding the scope of its collaboration with Rai, the exclusive concessionaire of Italy’s public radio, television, and multimedia broadcasting service, to include management and maintenance services for data and telephony infrastructure. Italtel carries out these activities as the lead company of a temporary consortium (RTI), coordinating highly qualified and certified personnel from both its own organization and partner companies.

The team operates within Rai’s Network Operation Centers (NOCs) in Turin and Rome. The NOCs monitor and manage the infrastructure to ensure the operational continuity and full efficiency of the technological components underpinning Rai’s data transmission and telephony services network in Italy and abroad.

The scope of the services also extends to events, major productions, and special broadcasts that require the implementation of temporary and dedicated network infrastructures for the sites selected for each initiative. One example is the Ariston Theatre during the 76th Sanremo Music Festival, for which a dedicated infrastructure was deployed to support operational and production requirements.
