Italtel strengthens collaboration with the Community of Madrid

Milan, 29 January 2026 – The CEO of Italtel, Carlo Filangieri, met today in Milan with the Regional Minister for Economy, Finance and Employment of the Community of Madrid, Rocío Albert López-Ibor, for a discussion on collaboration prospects and investments between Italtel and Madrid in the telecommunications sector, an area in which Italtel has been active in Spain for nearly thirty years.
The meeting is part of the programme of activities organised in Milan by Invest in Madrid, the regional office of the Madrid government that promotes the attraction of foreign investment.
Spain represents the second largest foreign market for the Italtel Group, with a consolidated presence in Madrid, Barcelona, Ciudad Real and Seville, and a growing role in the design and development of digital and infrastructure solutions for operators and public administrations.

Filangeri stated, commenting on the meeting.
Also attending the meeting on behalf of Italtel was Alessandro Di Salvo, CEO of Italtel Spain. Alongside the Regional Minister for Economy, the meeting was also attended by the Director General for Economy and Industry, Jaime Martínez Muñoz, and the Director General of Invest in Madrid, Luis Socías.
