Italtel strengthens its commitment to digital transformation in Peru during CEO Carlo Filangieri’s visit
The institutional visit highlighted Peru’s strategic role within Italtel’s regional operations and reinforced the company’s commitment to innovation, cybersecurity, cloud solutions and the modernization of key industries.
Italtel reinforced its commitment to the Peruvian market during the recent visit of its CEO, Carlo Filangieri, who met with customers, local teams and specialized media to share the company’s global vision for growth and digital transformation across Latin America.
During his stay in Lima, Filangieri emphasized that Peru represents a strategic operation for the group within the region, following 18 years of continuous presence in the country and a strong track record supporting digital transformation projects in sectors such as banking, mining, education, public administration and airports.
“
“Peru has demonstrated remarkable technological resilience and evolution. Our goal is to continue growing alongside our customers by delivering high-engineering solutions and high-value digital services capable of addressing the challenges of an increasingly dynamic environment,”
said Filangieri.
The visit also reinforced Italtel’s positioning as a technology partner specialized in complex projects involving connectivity, cloud, automation, data centers, managed services and advanced cybersecurity — areas that continue to gain relevance in both the Peruvian and regional markets.
In interviews with local media, the CEO also highlighted opportunities for modernization in the healthcare sector through digital medical records, telemedicine solutions and secure platforms designed to protect critical data. He also shared the company’s outlook for 2026, projecting sustained growth driven by technological innovation, specialization and close customer collaboration.
Italtel Peru currently employs nearly 180 professionals and serves approximately 120 active customers, strengthening local technical capabilities and supporting increasingly complex technology projects. Recently, the company also expanded its participation in projects developed under Peru’s “Works for Taxes” (OxI) framework, contributing to broader access to information technologies across the country.
Globally, Italtel continues advancing through a new transformation phase focused on building a more agile, efficient and sustainably profitable organization. In 2025, the company reported revenues of €273 million, representing 6% growth compared to the previous year, while EBITDA exceeded €16 million.
Through this visit, Italtel reaffirmed its long-term vision for Peru and its intention to continue strengthening regional capabilities in high engineering, digital resilience and specialized services to support the technological evolution of public and private organizations.
