Matera 2019: the future as told by Exprivia | Italtel in the underground of Piazza San Francesco

In Matera, until June 30, there will be a video installation that’s going to paint, between reality and fantasy, a particular vision of tomorrow.

Matera, 28 June 2019 – The evocative underground spaces of the Piazza San Francesco in Matera will be housing, until June 30, a video installation created by Exprivia|Italtel which describes the digital revolution through an original work. The international Information and Communication Technology group brings this project to the European Capital of Culture, as part of the “Matera 2019: the open future of Italian businesses” event promoted by Confindustria and the Matera-Basilicata Foundation 2019.

The video installation will focus on five tales that talk about the near future, from the advent of artificial intelligence to human-machine interaction, up to machine learning. This particular vision of tomorrow, that has as its horizon the border between reality and fantasy, will be told in a natural theater in the heart of Matera’s historic center.

The five clips are taken from the “Accadde domani” event held at the Piccolo Teatro Studio Melato in Milan, with the participation of the writer Gianrico Carofiglio.

This event in the Basilicata territory represents an excellent opportunity to emphasize the involvement of Exprivia|Italtel in spreading culture in the areas in which it operates, an essential basis for any kind of innovation that embraces social progress.

Admission is free and the opening hours are from 9.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 3.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday; from 9.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. (open all day) Friday to Sunday.
