Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, Minister for the Environment, visits Italtel to experience VoIP Services for Citizens and the Environment

On occasion of the visit by Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, Italian Minister for the Environment, to Italtel in Settimo Milanese, the company presented its VoIP solutions for public administration and environment protection based on the convergence of telecommunications, information technology and the web. On 6 July 2007, the Minister had already presented the Council of Ministers with a proposal to promote the use of VoIP in the Public Administration.
