Italtel recognized by JAC for Climate Commitment
The “Committed to Climate” badge under the 2026 Supplier Engagement Programme recognizes Italtel’s progress in emissions management and ICT supply chain decarbonization.
Italtel has received the “Committed to Climate – Recognition Badge” from the Joint Alliance for CSR (JAC) as part of its 2026 Supplier Engagement Programme (SEP).
The recognition is awarded to suppliers that have demonstrated a significant improvement in their overall maturity compared with the previous year, moving up two levels from levels 0-2 or progressing from level 3 to level 4.
Supporting a more sustainable ICT supply chain
The JAC Supplier Engagement Programme is a collaborative initiative designed to assess and improve the maturity of the ICT supply chain in managing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Suppliers are assessed through the JAC SEP Maturity Model, which considers GHG emissions-related performance across four areas:
- Strategy
- Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV)
- Emissions Reduction
- Communication and Engagement
For Italtel, the “Committed to Climate” badge recognizes the progress made and the company’s commitment to supporting the decarbonization of the ICT supply chain and advancing efforts to tackle climate change.
