Italtel maintains the “Silver Recognition” of EcoVadis for the third consecutive year and improves its overall score reaching the value of 58 out of 100.
EcoVadis’ assessment considers the compliance of companies with the principles of corporate social responsibility according to four major themes: Environment, Labor Practices, Fair Business Practices and Sustainable Procurement. In the assessment of January 2018, Italtel has particularly improved the index on working practices.
Another interesting aspect is that Italy has reached an overall better position of the four voices compared to the average of our own industrial sector that have undergone the evaluation of EcoVadis.
Finally, the benchmark shows that the main aspect for us is the Fair Business Practices, where we place among the 5% of companies at the top of this evaluation.
EcoVadis is an international organization that has started a collaboration to evaluate the sustainability of suppliers.
