Europe is accelerating in adoption of SIP trunking

September 8, 2017 – The worldwide e-SBC market was 373M$ in 2016*.

North America had a revenue share lead of e-SBC sales of 67% of sales in 2Q17. However, the adoption of SIP trunking is accelerating also in EMEA, as we can see in the chart below**.

According to IHS Markit analysis: “Most of the gateway vendors are integrating more and more SBC functionality to capture the shift, in addition to offering software upgrades to the installed base of products”.
