Milan, March 7, 2024 – Italtel, a multinational Information & Communication Technology company, today announced that Dario G. Lucatti has joined the leadership team as Chief Business Development Officer.
Lucatti, who will report directly to CEO Benedetto Di Salvo, will have overall responsibility for the Italtel group to define strategies for the evolution of the offering portfolio, identify new technology solutions according to the Open Innovation paradigm, and accelerate business development on high-potential offering lines such as Generative AI, Analytics & Automation, Cybersecurity Services, 5G/Edge Computing, and Software Solutions.
A manager with consolidated experience, Dario has spent the last 7 years at Microsoft Italy, where he started as Client Director for the Telecom Italia Group, becoming a member of the Enterprise & Commercial leadership team and soon after responsible for the Telco, Media and Professional Services market. In his career, he has worked in Italy and abroad for multinational companies such as Telecom Italia, Nokia, and Cisco with roles of responsibility in technology and sales in different markets such as service providers, enterprises, central and local public administration, UN Agencies, and the Vatican.

Born in Milan in 1970, Dario holds an MS in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and a postgraduate Master’s degree in Information & Communication Technology from Cefriel.
Dario has actively collaborated with an association for the care of mentally disabled children and is a supporter of the association Sport without Borders and a member of Amitiés Sans Frontières.
