This is a hallmark of our history that we want to put back at the center of our present to solidly anchor the future.
As early as the second half of the 1980s, forty years ago, at the urging of Marisa Bellisario, the first female CEO of a large Italian and multinational company, Italtel was a pioneer on equal opportunity issues, with positive actions in diversity and concrete projects to support and give opportunities to women in STEM disciplines.
Today, as yesterday, Italtel is committed to recovering this important value aspect – the management of diversity and inclusion – which it considers one of the essential elements of growth, organizational development and, therefore, a distinctive feature of its identity.
In particular, we have embarked on the path of gender equality certification, which consists of the recognition by a third-party body of compliance with the UNI/PdR 125:2022 practice according to certain standards of quality and transparency in human resource management, with particular attention to the gender dimension.
