The SMAU | Italy RestartsUp event in London, scheduled for 26 March, aims to create a close connection between the Italian innovation ecosystem, the London Hub and the UK market. This initiative provides a fruitful ground for startups, companies, investors and various innovation players from both Italy and the UK.
Italtel is represented in London by two key representatives: Dario Lucatti, Chief Business Development Officer, and Urbano Mimmo, Head of Strategic Marketing & Innovation, who have the opportunity to meet startups and companies in matching meetings to discuss various topics, ranging from 5G apps to generative AI, from automation to cybersecurity, with a focus on sustainability.
In addition, Urbano Mimmo will be speaking at the Round Table “How to make innovation differently with the paradigm of Digitalisation” from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The objective is to share Italtel’s experience in responding to the growing digitization needs of the Enterprise market, pushing innovation in areas such as Cybers Security, Hybrid Cloud, Automation and Artificial Intelligence. Our differentiating factor is the open approach to co-innovation and co-design: in fact we launched a call for ideas at the end of December to all our people called ‘The Innovation Game’, which is still ongoing. The ideas generated will be turned into challenges for both our internal developers and external start-ups. We are looking for innovations that can bring tangible value and act as a catalyst for our success.
