IPTV, IP Multimedia, Broadband: these are the central topics of IMAGES, the european project coordinated by Italtel

Television over IP, personalised multimedia services, and users presence management in the network are the upcoming applications for Next – Generation Networks (NGN) based on the Internet Protocol (IP). This is confirmed by Images, the European project developed by eleven leading players in the ICT sector and coordinated by Italtel. The results of the project were presented in Berlin at the CELTIC event, the European research programme into end-to-end telecommunications.
