INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
USERS OF NEWSLETTER AND WEBINAR
Italtel S.p.A. with registered office at Viale L. Schiavonetti, 270/F, 00173 Roma, in its capacity of Data Controller (hereinafter referred to as “ITALTEL” or the “Data Controller”), pursuant to Art. 13 and 14 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) wishes to inform you of the following.
CATEGORIES AND SOURCE OF PERSONAL DATA
The personal data that will be processed are those entered by yourself in the request form.
PURPOSES OF THE PROCESSING
Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
- allow you to attend free webinars organized by Italtel also through third parties;
- send you the newsletter containing information on the Italtel Group, including products and services;
- fulfill legal obligations (i.e. release of information notice or release of data to the Authorities);
- information security;
- any defensive needs.
LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING
The legal basis for the processing is related to the need to attend webinars, the issue of your consent for sending the newsletter, the legal obligations and the legitimate interest of the Data Controller which includes defensive and security requirements, and the communication within the Group.
For the processing based on the consent, please remember that it is always revocable, easily and freely; in every newsletter you will find a special link for withdrawing the consent. The withdraw does not affect previous processing.
If data processing is carried out for legitimate interest of the Data Controller, in presence of your particular situation, you can object to the processing.
In this case, the Data Controller refrains from further data processing unless he/she demonstrates compelling legitimate reasons for the processing that overrides the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
PROCESSING METHODS AND DATA RETENTION
The processing of your personal data will be performed using manual and/or automated means that are appropriate for ensure data security and confidentiality strictly related to the purposes of the processing.
Your personal data will be stored for two years unless you give your consent again.
RECIPIENTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA
Your data may be disclosed to third parties such as:
- companies organizing the webinar ;
- public entities to fulfil legal obligations;
- judicial authority or legal firms for any defence
DATA SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS
At any time, you may exercise your rights towards the Data Controller referred to Chapter III of the GDPR, such as, for example, the right of access, rectification, integration, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and the right to object in presence of legal conditions.
The right to object (opt-out) the processing for direct marketing can be invoked at any time.
In this regard, ITALTEL will remind you that, in every e-mail containing the newsletter, you will find a link for withdrawing your consent.
In order to assert your rights, you shall send a communication to the registered office of ITALTEL by specifying “Privacy” in the subject. Alternatively, such communication can be sent to the e-mail address privacy@italtel.com, or by contacting the Data Protection Officer (DPO) by sending an e-mail to dpo@italtel.com. In the same manner, you can request the list of Data Processors.
Finally, please remember that you may lodge a complaint to Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
