  • CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

    Benedetto Di Salvo

    Benedetto Di Salvo has assumed the role of CEO of Italtel since April 2022. Born in 1960, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1983 at the La Sapienza University of Rome.

    He began his career as a designer in the Finmeccanica Group (now Leonardo), participating in European development programs in the aerospace sector. Subsequently, he worked as Area Manager at international General Contractors with responsibility for some foreign markets.

    Since 1993 he has moved to the ICT sector, he has held global roles in sales, operations and general management with some of the leading multinational companies in the sector such as Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent, Huawei, Ericsson, Nortel Networks, gaining international experience with a broad knowledge of the TelCo and Enterprise businesses and of key technologies.

    Prior to joining Italtel, he was head of Sirti’s Digital Solutions Business Unit for four years, which, under his leadership, achieved extremely significant results in terms of market diversification and revenue growth in the Public and Private sectors.

    Since 2019 he has also been Chairman of Wellcomm Engineering SpA, a cybersecurity company acquired by Sirti with key customers in the Finance and Large Enterprise market.

  • Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer

    Roberto Borga

    Roberto Borga took on the role of Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer in February 2023; a newly created role to accelerate the Group’s transformation and growth.

    Born in 1979, Roberto Borga earned an MBA cum laude from SDA Bocconi and a BA in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, with a year spent in Spain at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería in Seville.

    Before joining Italtel he developed a strong experience in Strategy and Transformation issues working in leading international consulting companies such as Accenture and Roland Berger.

    In his career he has led multiple strategic projects and programs of performance improvement and transformation with a main focus on the Technology, Media, Telecommunication and Digital sectors.

    In this way it has developed an extensive knowledge of the entire ICT Value Chain and the underlying business and market dynamics, supporting multiple players of different nature and positioning in their growth and evolution projects.

  • CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER

    Michela Pertino

    Michela Pertino has recently joined Italtel in the role of Chief Legal Officer.

    Michela is a Legal Manager with about 20 years of experience in handling legal, corporate affairs and compliance issues in different business sectors (finance, green energy, automotive, transportation).

    After graduating in Law from the University of Genoa, she started her career as a registered lawyer and worked  in civil and criminal law matters.

    Afterwards she moved “in-house” within structured companies developing skills in project management and team coordination . Most recently, prior to joining Italtel, she worked as General Counsel , as well as as Board Secretary, in the Fai Service  (Lumesia), a leading European provider of services to the trucking world, with a specific focus on the  digitalization  of the business.

    Previously, among other things, she also gained many years of experience at Sogefi (CIR Group), a multinational world leader in the automotive market, listed on the Euronext STAR Milan segment, with responsibility for corporate affairs and compliance matters with reference  to the issuers listed on regulated markets.

    Over time, she has perfected her education with several Master’s degrees on topics such as M&A transactions, Tech Law & Digital Transformation and Data Protection.

  • CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

    Roberto Felline

    Born in Vigevano in 1963, Roberto Felline has a degree in Economics from the University of Pavia.

    He began his career in 1988 in the auditing firm Coopers & Lybrand, later to become PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a world leader in the field of auditing, holding the position of Senior Manager.

    In 2002 he joined Italtel dealing with Management Control in Research & Development and Operations and becoming, in 2010, responsible for the Controlling function of the entire Italtel group. He has followed various corporate and financial restructuring projects, taking on the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Group in 2017.

    From August 2019 he assumes the position of Italtel Chief Corporate Officer.

    Registered in the Register of Auditors, he held the positions of statutory auditor and board member in Italtel group companies.

  • CHIEF HR & ORGANIZATION OFFICER

    Michele Saracino

    Michele Saracino joined Italtel as Chief HR & Organization Officer in March 2022.

    He pursued a degree in Literature and Philosophy from the Catholic University of Milan, a Master in Organization & Personnel from SDA Bocconi, Milan and obtained a Master Coaching Professional Competence (ACSTH Approved Coach Specific Training Hours – ICF).

    He is a multicultural HR Leader with 20 years of experience in different business sectors, from retail to high-end design furniture, training, and organization consultancy, in multinational, complex and structured companies, but also in middle-sized organizations.

    Michele worked for 11 years in the Natuzzi Group, world leader in luxury furniture (listed at the NYC stock exchange), with roles of increasing responsibility in HR in Italy, UK, Spain, Romania, China.

    Most recently, during his professional experience with Natuzzi Group, he has been living and working in the United States for three years where he participated in the turnaround project as HR Leader.

    Michele takes with him experience and strong competences in Organizational Design, Process Analysis, People Development, Rewarding, Compensations & Benefits, Change Management, Coaching.

  • Head of Corporate Communication

    Laura Borlenghi

    Graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures, Laura Borlenghi begins her professional career in 1988 entering as editor at the Gruppo Editoriale Jackson, where she is in the editorial staff of two of the first ICT magazines founded in Italy, like BIT and Informatica Oggi Settimanale.

    She then moves to the Burson-Marsteller communication agency, where with the role of account executive she deals with the press office for international clients of the Information & Communication Technology sector.

    In the early 90s he joins Italtel’s External Relations with responsibility for corporate publishing projects. Over time he works in different areas of Communication, taking on roles of increasing responsibility. In 2001 he becomes Head of Internal Communication and promotes the launch of new initiatives such as all-hands events and contests. In 2007 she also assumed the role of Head of Media Relations and since 2012 she has been Head of Corporate Communications, with the responsibility of planning and managing the company’s integrated communication strategy.

    She has been enrolled in the Order of Journalists as a publicist since 1990.

  • INTERNAL AUDIT & COMPLIANCE OFFICE

    Lorenzo Priolo

    Born in 1960, he is graduated full marks in Electronic Engineering (specialization Robotics).

    He held his thesis at the National Research Council (CNR) of Padua where he had a brief working experience as a researcher.
    He joined Italtel in 1988 dealing with project “Electronic Factory”, launched in the Carini plant (Palermo), taking care of quality and reliability aspects concerning the robotic production lines, at that time under implementation.

    He was involved in the Total Quality project and was Lead Assessor for several years for the Italian Quality Award (Premio Qualità Italia) for Small and Medium Enterprises, established by Confindustria (Italian Industrial Association).

    He was responsible for Corporate Quality, and since 2010, is Head of Internal Audit Department. From 2012, he is also Compliance Officer dealing with the Organizational, Management and Control Model pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree no. 231/2001.

    He takes part to the meetings of the Audit Committee, also as Secretary, and is member of the Supervisory Board (Organismo di Vigilanza).

  • Private & Public Sector - Business Unit

    Giovanni Salerno

    Giovanni Salerno has a degree in Economics and Commerce and a Master in Total Quality Management.

    He began his career in 1996 in Ericsson Telecommunications in the Marketing field with growing responsibility also at an international level and then in 2001 he passed to the Sales Direction, where he became Sales Manager of the Central Italian Pubblic Administration and maintained this role until 2007.

    He acquired experience and skills in the field of IT Services in the following years, working as Sales Director of a leading company in the sector when in 2011 he joined Italtel with the role of Central Public Administration Sales Manager.

    He is currently the Head of the Business Unit Private & Public Sector in Italtel, with responsibility for positioning the company in the reference market through the coordination of the commercial, design and delivey structures.

  • Telco, Media & Cloud Provider – Business Unit

    Fabrizio La Paglia

    Fabrizio La Paglia is today the Head of Telco, Media & Cloud Provider Business Unit, responsible for developing business, clients and sales in the Service & Media Providers sector.

    In 2005, he joined Italtel, working as Project Manager and was part of the team that created and launched the start-up of the Spanish subsidiary of Italtel

    In Italtel, he covered a wide variety of roles during last 12 years. He was assigned growing responsibilities within the Company, leading several Project teams (Global Program Manager for Latin America in 2007,
    Head of Marketing and Business Development in 2009, Global Account Manager for Telecom Italia in 2013, Sales Operations for Italian Telco Providers in 2015), since 2016, when he was appointed Head of Market Unit.

    In 1995, he graduated at the “Università degli Studi” of Genoa in Electronic Engineering.

  • Chief Business Development Officer

    Dario G. Lucatti

    Dario Giuseppe Lucatti has taken on the role of Chief Business Development Officer of Italtel since March 2024.

    Born in Milan in 1970, Dario holds an MS in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and a postgraduate Master’s degree in Information & Communication Technology from Cefriel.

    A Manager with consolidated experience, Dario G. Lucatti began his career in Telecom Italia, in the Network department, after having carried out his military service as an officer in the Carabinieri.

    Dario has spent the last 7 years at Microsoft Italy, where he started as Client Director for the Telecom Italia Group, becoming a member of the Enterprise & Commercial leadership team and soon after responsible for the Telco, Media and Professional Services market: sectors that under his leadership have recorded extremely significant results in terms of market diversification and revenue growth.

    In his career he has worked in Italy and abroad for multinational companies such as Telecom Italia, Nokia, Cisco with roles of responsibility in the technological and commercial fields on various markets such as service providers, companies, central and local public administration, UN agencies, the Vatican.

    As part of his various assignments, Dario has led many Digital Transformation initiatives in the B2B and B2C fields together with the main players in the ICT market.

    Dario speaks English and German and in his free time he loves to play sports, as well as having actively collaborated with an association for the care of mentally disabled children and being a supporter of Sport without Borders and a member of Amitiés Sans Frontières.

  • Head of Global Service Excellence

    Paolo Allegra

    Paolo Allegra joined Italtel in December 1989 as HW&SW Engineer. More than twenty years in the Telco industry, firstly assuming technical responsibilities, then achieving a specialization in the networks design; afterwards he moved to the Sales Area for the international Market and later on assumed the role of Head of the Advanced Professional Services Organization which comprises Design, Engineering, Testing, Deployment and Technical Assistance departments at Milan Company headquarters.

    Mr. Allegra spent more than seven years in Latin America participating to the creation of the start-up Italtel Brasil and carried out, in the role of General Manager, the acquisition of the Brazilian Market through some relevant contracts with major Service Providers of fixed and mobile Telephony. He held the role of Sales Area Manager for the emerging markets Middle East and Africa for three years with the responsibility of local subsidiary.

    Starting from 2009 he took charge of Delivery Unit until 2010 when he was appointed Head of Product Unit.

    He was responsible for the Ultra Broad Band Business Unit, dedicated to the design of Ultra BroadBand and 5G networks, and to infrastructure engineering services.

    Since February 2024, he is responsible for the Global Service Excellence function, which provides customers with monitoring, supervision, cybersecurity, technical support, operations, and consulting-type services in the area of network solutions and related ICT applications.

  • Head of Global Software Hub

    Giulio Gaetani

    Giulio Gaetani joined Italtel in 1992 and began working in the validation testing team in direct contact with the customer.

    In 2000 he moved to the engineering team, performing both pre-sales and post-sales activities, mainly with Italian Service Providers.

    In 2004 he assumed responsibility for validation activities for Telco solutions in the worldwide theater. In the following years he developed strong relationships with the engineering teams of Italtel subsidiaries abroad.

    In 2009 in Italy Italtel’s validation and engineering teams merged, and Giulio assumed the leadership of the teams dedicated to the international market for Telco solutions. Two years later he assumed responsibility for the worldwide theater for Engineering and Validation activities.

    In 2017, he was assigned responsibility for leading the Business Unit dedicated to proprietary products, platforms and applications related to five main streams: Telco, SDN, IoT, Contextual Communication and Management.

    In 2019, he becomes responsible for the Open Network & Platform Technology Unit, which is accountable for all phases, from offering to development, technical support to operations, in collaboration with Business Units and Countries. Also part of this unit are the various IP Network Engineering, Datacenter, Unified Communication and Cybersecurity teams.

    Since February 2024, he has been leading the Global Software Hub function, which is responsible for the design and development of Italtel’s software products and services, contributing to the evolution of the offering catalog. In his role, based on a diffuse R&D model, he coordinates the teams of resources within the Competence Centers on the methodological, instrumental and architectural level, and authorizes and monitors any developments. Works to pursue continuous improvement of developed software products and services. He also supports Countries by delivering Professional Services in Telco Engineering.
