TECHNICAL DETAILS

The multiple advantages for companies, greater efficiency, better operations and cost reduction, find their cornerstone in the transformation of products offered by operators in services. The Service Provider has been able to embrace this new paradigm, based on digital transformation, thanks to the use of Cisco technologies and the experience of Italtel.

In fact, Italtel worked on the engineering of the Data Center infrastructure in the Service Provider network, based on Cisco’s UCS hardware and configured in geographic redundancy in 2 sites, in the regions of Lombardy (Nerthern Italy) and Lazio (Central Italy).

The virtualized SBC on the Data Center is a product developed by Italtel itself: NetMatch-S.

Italtel has also certified the interworking of Cisco’s IP CUCM with NetMatch-S and has performed the installation and configuration of the IP-PBX within the company network; the preliminary certification tests were carried out on a system set up at the Italtel site in Castelletto.
