The tool has been designed, working hand-in-hand with Engineering teams, to improve day-by-day Operations and Maintenance activities on complex, large, multi-vendor IP network infrastructures.
iNES automates manual activities, thus reducing human errors, shrinking costs, increasing reliability and simplicity. iNES effectively improves device manageability in critical management areas (troubleshooting, configuration and analysis/assessment),where the OSS support is often poor.
iNES simplifies and automates Operations tasks, providing device or network views. It enables Troubleshooting support, facilitating issues resolution and Network assessment, allowing proactive network care and health checks.
iNES is designed for multi-vendor purposes: most of Cisco and Juniper devices and relevant interfaces can be discovered via SNMP or Telnet. The network topology module creates a model of the physical and logical resources, including protocols and services. By carrying out a comparison between devices or with a model, iNES enables the rapid identification of misconfigurations and SW patches misalignments.
Massive configurations can be performed by executing a list of (parametric) commands on several devices at the same time. A parser helps to easily extract, visualize and export the commands output. Real-time measures are conveniently collected and graphically represented, to verify the output of performed correction interventions.
